JLA Clean secures contracts worth £10m in first year

Ripponden-based JLA is celebrating after securing contracts worth more than £10million for its JLA Clean range of detergents, just one year after launch.

The company, a leading name in the supply of commercial laundry and warewashing equipment, launched the JLA Clean range following discussions with its customers which revealed a clear need for quality detergents that provided a high standard of cleaning. Such has been the success in the first year that the company has signed up more than 2,000 customers to contracts averaging four years, selling more than 1.2 million litres of liquid detergent since launch last January.

The company works with customers across a wide range of sectors. Current JLA Clean clients include a number of sports teams, such as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool Football Clubs, care homes network Mimosa Healthcare, exclusive dry cleaning and laundry company MacGill of Kensington and pie-makers Pork Farms.

The company expects to see sales this year alone top more than £3million. Stephen Baxter, CEO of JLA, said: “The launch of JLA Clean was a major step for us and the result of us listening to our customers to develop the products that they need.
