Full Marks for JLA at ISBA 2016

JLA’s team of dedicated education sector expertsrecently joined bursars from some of the UK’s leading schools at the Independent Schools Bursars Association’s annual conference and exhibition in Edinburgh.

ISBA attracts some 400 bursars and senior management staff from independent schools and around 100 exhibitors, including JLA representatives Simon and Olivia who have worked with the education sector for a number of years.

Showcasing JLA’s range of efficient and user-friendly commercial washers, dryers and catering equipment, Simon and Olivia were able to advise bursars about the most suitable equipment for individual needs. As is customary at exhibitions, delegates had the opportunity to enter into JLA’s prize draw to win a personalised Mont Blanc pen.

The prize draw was held by the conference organisers on the final day of the exhibition and the winner was announced as Mrs Kathryn Pillar, bursar at Rydes Hill Preparatory School.

Simon and JLA Sales Director Patrick Hourigan visited Mrs Pillar a few days later to deliver her prize. Commenting on the exhibition, Simon said: “I work closely with many independent schools across the UK to deliver laundry solutions to suit their unique requirements. Being at ISBA and understanding the issues currently facing the sector is an important part of my role at JLA - keeping up to date with developments in the sector, allows me to ensure I’m always able to give our education sector customers the best possible advice to fit their needs.”
